Forbert Kaluba, DVM

Founder

Dr. Forbert Kaluba is an Emergency and Critical Care veterinarian based in Boston, Massachusetts. He founded and opened Precision Pet Urent Care in Plainville, MA, in 2023, followed by the opening of his second clinic, Pawsitive Care in Maynard, MA, in 2024, where he also serves as Medical Director. Additionally, he is a founding consultant for PetVRA Telehealth and the VRA geolocation app.

Dr. Kaluba graduated from the University of Zambia Samora Machel School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and moved to the United States in 2004. After completing the ECFVG program, he has worked exclusively in emergency veterinary medicine at several leading hospitals, including The Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital, Boston West Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital, and New England Animal Emergency Center.

His professional interests include resuscitation medicine, soft tissue surgery, and managing complex medical cases.

Outside of work, Dr. Kaluba enjoys spending time with his daughter Corinne and their Australian Shepherd, Scout. He also loves traveling, playing chess, and exploring new cuisines.
